What We Collect

• Uploaded images — processed server-side for compression. See retention policy below.
• Account information — email address and hashed password when you register for an API key.
• Usage metrics — compression counts, file sizes, and formats used. Collected in aggregate to improve the service.

Image Retention

Uploaded images and compressed outputs are automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not store, analyze, or train on your images beyond the compression process.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

Cookies

PixCrush uses minimal cookies — only what is necessary for session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.

Third-Party Services

PixCrush is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party cloud providers. These providers may process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies.
